Jalapeño Bacon Cheddar Crisps

These cheese crisps are so easy to make! I used all cheddar for mine, but you can swap in Colby Jack, Manchego, Gouda, Mozzarella, or even Parmesan if you prefer.
Prep Time 10 minutes
Cook Time 10 minutes
Servings: 12
Course: Snack

Ingredients

  • 8 oz. cheddar cheese shredded (about 2 cups)
  • ¼ cup bacon bits or about 20 pieces of pepperoni, chopped
  • 1 jalapeño sliced

Method

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F. Line two baking sheets with parchment paper.
  2. Place a pile of about 2 tablespoons of shredded cheese on the baking sheet and flatten it. Continue with the rest of the cheese, separating each pile by at least an inch. You should be able to fit six cheese crisps on each baking sheet.
  3. Sprinkle some bacon bits or pepperoni on each pile of cheese, then place a jalapeño slice in the middle.
  4. Bake until the cheese has browned, 12 to 13 minutes, and then remove from the oven. They will look oily and sizzling when you take them out of them oven; let them cool for about 5 minutes to allow them to firm up, then serve.
